Their entire defense was based on favoritism and nostalgia of him being chief. Meredith couldn't even give Bailey a viable reason as to why she was rejecting Minnick, because there really wasn't one. Honestly Richard never really was that great of a teacher, there were multiple times where he stole learning opportunities from his students (and then when Alex called him out on it Richard folded back and twisted it into him "teaching them a lesson" sure Richard, sure.) ,and emotionally manipulated people and abused his authority to get away with so many unethical things such as operating on patients when he was drunk. The funny thing is that he had the audacity to say Bailey was being ridiculous when Meredith was putting a pissing contest over the betterment of her career and the betterment of the hospital. But I hate how they always portray him as a good guy. I have many more points but I got out of my chest my main problem with him.ĪGAIN, I don't think he should be removed from Greys since he IS essential to the show. Gets upset when Maggie revealed that he was her father because now people know he cheated on his previews marriage, but he told her he would be OK if she told people in season12. He likes alpha female but wants to have dominance over them and feels jealous when they do better than them. I HATE it when they act as he was a great husband to her. It infuriates me every time I think about how he treated Adele. Knowing that George failed his exam for ONE point and having the power to help to re-take the test he didn't. He meddles in everyone's business went the others just try to help him about the life he yells at them and insults them. I don't think he should be removed from Greys since he IS essential to the show.
